Hi,
I'm attempting to update my CIC to version C1A, but I'm encountering Error 106. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Imported SP data using BMW coding tool (selected SP source -> Update SP-data -> chose WINKFP update).
- Verified the files in the Ediabas\ecu folder to ensure they are correct.
I’m updating via both bmw icom next and ICOM B (OBD and MOST ports are connected). On the ICOM B, both SYSTEM and MOST LEDs are green. I’ve used Easy Connect with the following settings:
- TYPE: REMOTE
- IP: The ICOM IP is shown in Itoolradar
- MODE: MOST_ASYNC
I selected ICOM Lock and clicked Check; no errors appeared during this process.
I’m not sure why I’m encountering this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
