I work extensively with Hino trucks and am curious about whether the new Nexiq USB-Link 3 can handle reflashing older models. I came across an old discussion suggesting that only specific devices, like the Link1 or Denso, could safely reflash ECUs on the K-line without risking damage due to connection issues.

Currently, I use a Dx3 and Nexiq 3 for diagnostics. While I understand that the USB-Link 1 would be ideal for this task, I'm open to any advice or alternative solutions that might work with the Nexiq 3.

Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
